lsvtec crx wont start after rebuild
the car is a 89 crx that was converted to rhd, i had a ls motor in it a while back and it ran fine no codes. after i passed emmisions i went and pulled the motor and built the bottom end and threw a vtec head on it and all. i had the head milled .30 and to make up for that i have cam gears to correct timing. i have the car timed right on and the dizzy is sparking and getting it to all 4 wires. i checked the firing order and it is good. i checked my fuel injector clips for continuity and they all checked out. resistor box is plugged in and they are obd 0 injectors. i assume they are firing the car does try to start. i have compression, spark, fuel, and timing but it still wont start. it tries but barely does anything but everyonce in a while.
things im woried about. spark plugs are black after cranking a few times. what does this mean? to rich? stock injectors on a chipped ecu and we swapped out the ecu just to see if that was it but no
also to get the car to pass emissions i had a quarter tank on 87 and then put a half gallon of denatured alcohol to pass emissions. the car has sat for a couple months at most would that have any effect on the gas not being good enough to start it?
lmk if you need to know anything else any help is welcome

Switch out your gas, try again. Double check your cam timing just to be sure, and then when you do get it running, figure out how to make it pass emissions. If OEM manufacturers can put out crazy turbo charged four cylinder engines and pull better emission numbers than you, you may be doing it wrong.
well yea they have a little more money to work with haha. i drianed the gas and i just tested the injectors by basically pulling the fuel rail and facing the injectors up and i held them in while my brother cranked the motor and they all sprayed at once and then didnt spray again while it was cranking which means dizzy wiring. i need to get a good multimeter to test this stuff for sure. the ghetto one im using isnt so convincing
