Icon2 tranny help?

okay so me a few friends and my gf were leaving on to go camping last night and my trannys been giving me some problems basically it would be really hard to go into first and i would go to go and it would make a grinding noise so id have to like go to 2nd 3rd and 4th sometimes reverse to get it to go in and sometimes it would get into first and i would go to pull it out of first and it would be stuck in and id have to jerk it back and fourth to get it out and anyways so i start driving and this **** happens but it gets into first i start driving shift into 2nd and then i put it in neutral and coast and then i let the clutch out and im still in second so i pull off and park start messing with my shifter put it where neutral is supposed to be and its in 2nd i put it in first and its in neutral, so i get home today and jack it up unbolt my linkage check what the hells going on but same problem linkage seems fine the bearings are good but i thinkg the rubber piece on my torsion bars ****ed, cuz i tightened it up and it still wiggled to hell but anyways i lower it down drive around the block and try to switch gears i slam it into what was 3rd or 4th i dont remember and the tires lock up and i skid like 10 feet i push in the clutch and it wouldnt roll or do anything so i have my father in law start to tow me and i get about 45 feet or so with my tires skidding and i start to get intense wheel hop and bang i hear a loud *** pop it breaks loose and im rolling with the clutch in i let the clutch out and im stopped, idk whats up with this thing but when i get rolling with the clutch in i hear like an intense noise of **** rumbling around, get parked and thats the end of it new tranny tomorrow but can anyone help me on what happend that made neutral become my second gear and 1st become my neutral thanks in advance

yes, but how many ppl on here run stock? Thats the info I was looking for. Idk what happened to ur tranny, guessing you broke one of the little pieces in there. check the diagram of a manual tranny, its intense. anyways, no car came stock with MPFI and a 4speed. 4speed was only on standard trim, I think. MPFI was only on SI trim (and HF CRX I believe). was it converted or swapped or what?
