How big are the stock brake line nuts?
My SS lines came with nuts to connect it to the hardline that are over 18mm. I was wondering how big the stock size is because I bought flare nut wrenches but they are not big enough to fit on the ss lines but if they will fit on the stock ones I will keep them and just get the other 18mm one...
the line wrenches you'll need is a 10mm. the other "nut" isn't that much a problem.. just throw a standard open-ended wrench on it..
I'm not talking about line length. I'm talking about the nut on the end of the line on the side that connects it to the hardline. The stock rubber hose has a 10mm one but these Goodridge lines have something at least 18mm.
I think I will keep the flare nut wrenches and use it to get the brake lines off since they have been on for 14 years and I doubt they will come willingly. But can I just use an adjustable wrench to install the new lines? Or should I really use a line wrench?

no, you don't understand.. there are 2 nuts on them.. one on the line, the braided, then a fitting on the "hard" line, on the car. the one on the hard line is a 10mm.. the other is on the braided/hose line itself.. this one doesn't matter that much, it doesn't strip out as much as the one on the hard line..
