so i just purchased a f20b vtec for 50$ in perfect shape, is it possible to swap into my civic? someone told me h22 mounts will work but a buddy of mine with an accord says h22 mounts dont work, havnt been able to find anything solid, also will a h22 tranny work for this if it is possible?

 

h22 mounts work check my sig to show i know what im talking about, and if you bought and f20b for $50 its probably stolen.

 

no its legit, the guy ordered it last year and then wrecked his accord so it just sat on the crate it got shipped to him on, ive seen the reciept

what tranny to use h22? also what ecu?

 

f20b t2t4 tranny is best if you can get it but any f or h series tranny will work with the exception of the f20c

 

ecu: a chipped OBD1 vtec p28 p72

 

F20B Blue Top just needs the driver side engine bracket that bolts to the block with 3 bolts to be swapped for the 92+ Prelude one which has the correct stud pattern needed for the driver side mount, a must. Other then that, just like an H swap.

sounds kinda fun, these things have what 200hp? i might have to do this sounds cooler than a b16......

 

180hp for the auto-version 200hp for the manual version i upgraded from a b16 to the f20b
