Icon4 Funny shifting issues

For those who remember, I did a hydro trans swap when I built my civic last year. And all has gone well for the last year/5000 ish miles I've driven the car, until last week. I was on the highway, and the car kept popping out of 5th gear. I had to literally hold the shifter in the 5th gear position to stay there. I thought right away throwout bearing, then once I was off the highway, I found that third was also doing this. But with third, if I hold it in 3rd, you hear and feel it going in and out of gear and grinding like when you come off the clutch too soon on a shift. I also noticed that when in 4th, when I hit the gas, you can feel the shifter move about a half inch back.

Now I had the pass side trans mount loosen up, and I already tightened that up. Also put in fresh trans fluid and rebled the clutch line. I have prothane mount inserts so I'm puzzled to why now the shifter is bobbling when goosing gas, this hasn't happened in the last year.

Only other thing I seen that was questionable was the bearings on the bottom of the shifter which look shot, so I'll order up another short throw and fix that. Opinions ideas and suggestions welcomed. I'm leaning toward the trans being shot at this point and if there's a quick fix for this please say it.

it sounds like the shift fork inside the tranny is going out. something might of came out alignment or its starting to get play between the main/counter shaft. it could be anything inside, it needs to be torn apart to figure what went bad/wrong. best thing you can do is get the tranny inspected by a pro first.

Sounds like a bad master or slave cylinder. Next time ask google, I'll let it slide this time.

On another note, my 5700 mile clutch is randomly showing signs of slippage. Yet I have yet to launch/holeshot/burnout with my setup, not to say i don't drive aggressively, but I always feel there's gunna be a cop around the corner whe I decide to. Anyways, clutch won't slip in 1st, it either will or won't after 5500ish in second or fourth, it's fine in fifth even at full throttle on the highway 100+.

I did a lil reading and heard of gears slipping? Is this even possible? Also, my third has gotten worse, it's either there or not now. When car is parked and off, if you run the shifter through the tree, 1/3/5 only engage half way and you feel no notchyness.

It's been 90+ since I first posted this so I'm waiting for it to cool a lil and find a backup tranny, being this is my daily driver. I agree with chivid about it maybe being the shift fork or something internally. Any other thoughts people?
