2010 honda civic lx 4 dr 5 speed. Sooo I was wondering what you guys think about them so far? Is there anything i hsould be watching out for? How are they treating you guys?? I had a 2000 honda civic ex 4 dr 5 speed, lowered. and to me i feel like this civic is a lot more comfy and drives so much smoother... im not sure about the power though i felt like my d16y8 had more power than this r18a1? (i think thats the motor code)....

Hey congrats for the new civic.its amazing in looks.Well i have seen it and its lot more spacious,smoother and powerful than the earlier model.

 

I made another thread complaining about build quality in my 09 SI. I've got a lot of sqeaks and rattles.

 

I just got an LX as well, but a coupe. I love it. I havent had any problems, no rattles or anything.

 

NVH is low and the suspension is better so you think its slower. Ill bet money its faster.

 

The R18 is rated at 140 hp, the Ds aren't near that. So, the R18 is more powerful. Whether or not the car is faster is a different story. Civics are getting chubbier and chubbier every model change.

 

i agree with all that, the only 2 problems im getting so far is i hear a rattle noise coming from the dash board on the drivers side near the little tiny mirror (sedans only) and if i get on it and shift really quick and let go of the clutch i hear a click noise? im not sure what that is all about? any ideas?

 

If its new , im sure its normal. I always listen to the radio and there are some notorious noises on the civics , but I wont mention them so you wont be trying to hear it. Just keep in mind the warranty and bring in anything that seems out of the ordinary before you hit the end.
