Default h22 accord transmission

i have a h22 accord with the f22 transmission, it recently started grinding 3rd gear and i kept driving it......today i went out for a run in it and it started knocking really bad....what could cause a transmission knock besides loose flywheel or pressure plate, it still shifts into all gears....Could something inside the tranny gears have broke and be knocking....

It sounds similar to a rod knock but its coming from the transmission? any ideas?

I've had a bearing let go before (mainshaft), could be that.

Either way, time for a H22 trans. Get a JDM F20B LSD trans, you won't regret. If you're nervous about bad gas mileage then go with an H23 trans or yet get a F22 trans which you can get the most MPG out of it.

I've been outta the game for a decade now, but is OBX good **** these days? Wow, I never thought I'd see that day come. When OBX LSD first hit the scene, nobody could remove their axles once they were installed.

Im not syng theyre the BEST option, but I will say that with just a little work (Changing the bellievue washers in them) thyve taken 2-3 years of SEVERE abuse in my 3000 LB 650 WHP shitbox... Not 1 issue.
