Flew off while you were driving, and you are gonna go look for the nut? OK. Hopefully you are gonna go look at the dealer.

How does your belt even stay on?

that happend to my roomates car during autocross. forgot to put the nut back on and during a run he said he heard a cluck, ping, ding sound from under the car. corner worker saw it at gave it back to us. surprisingly the bracket is pretty tight fit for the alt and it didnt budge. bolt slipped right back in when we got home. threw the nut back in and torqued it. honda makes amazing parts... all i gotta say.

Honda makes some magical parts TBH.
My steering knuckle on my CRX Si got bent up when I hit the curb...
The mechanic who replaced it said it's a miracle it didn't break. It just bent a lot, and I was still able to drive it.
