Wide wheels, tires, and offset
I am currently in the process of a B18C turbo build up that will go in my CRX. It should be in the range of 400+hp. I plan to run the One Lap of America race, no tire changes are allowed and you must run street tires.
I need to run wide tires to do halfway decent in the drag portion of the race...so here is my question-
I plan on running 225 or 235 width tires on 16x7.5" wheels-
what kind of offset should I get so that there is no rubbing on the suspension?
I am making new fenders at the moment so fender rubbing is NOT an issue.
Thanks
Ben

For 88-91 CRX for 7,5x -- rims maximum offset is +40 (TSW venoms fit)
But if you take my word of advice get 17's since you'll want to reduce the torque at the wheels somewhat..that kind of horsepower on 16's = wheelspin , trust me ..
