sup guys bought this y7 block today for 75 bucks rebuilt with 30k on it the guy had it in his car said he ran it out of oil so as its sitting right now i bought it after sitting outside for 2 years, now the rods seem a little sloppy it turns all the way almost idk why not all the way kinda weird anyways im gonna rip it apart tonight and see what all i need, but i was wondering where to get new bearings and rings for cheap i dont have to much money right now so im just trying to get it together i inspected it pretty thoroughly no cracks in the cylinders nothing like that just water stains and other bs but it looks farely clean like no water got through the rings cuz there was water standing inside the cylinders on top of the pistons inside the oil pan looked imaccualte thanks guys

 

i wouldn't try and cheap out on rings. honda oem or parts from your local autoparts store would work fine.

you say you had standing water sitting on top of the pistons which would concern me about rust forming on the cylinder walls.

 

i think it may have been sitting sideways but there is some surface rust but only on cylinder number 4 i got another post up with hella pics check it out d16y7 y8 mini me is the title i posted like 3 on accident idk how to delete lol
