Default Clutch engaging too high

My 95 EG's clutch started engaging really high outta nowhere. I didn't see any leaks around the clutch pedal and haven't really done anything to my clutch recently. The car has a JDM D15b with CX tranny. Some words of wisdom would be much appreciated. thanks

How old is your clutch? Is it slipping? It sounds like your clutch might be going out.

It's not slipping yet... i tried putting it in a higher gear going up a hill to test the slip theory and it just chattered the whole way. I was thinking it might be going out also, but it's been doing that for a 1.5k-2k miles. Maybe it's just barely holding on?

yup... clutch is just worn out.

Replace the disc & pressure plate. Flywheel needs to be resurfaced also.

It'll slip and you should hear it rev when you go up a hill in a higher gear than you're supposed to be in instead of the chatter/shaking (or at least that was what i was told)
