Honda Civic Choking
I have a 2002 honda civic EX and it has close to 200,000 miles on it. I am a freeway driver and I put on approximately 65 miles per day, six days a week. Last night while I was making a sharp right to merge onto the freeway, my car suddenly started choking and I noticed it when it reach around 25-30 mph. The Malfunction light blinked a few times and it went off but the choking continued. This morning the light came back on and it stay on. I am sure this has happen to many people, what is the solution?
Thanks in advance for all the help.

We need to know what code it's throwing before anyone can really give you remedial input.
So, take it and get it scanned. Many places do it for free. Then come back here and post the code(s).

i have this same problem with my car. but, i hit a bump too hard and my battery tapped the hood and fried my ecu. got it fixed then happened again and was told by the dealer that my alternator was cracked and again, fried my new ecu. sucks that the dealer didnt tell me a head of time that my alternator was cracked in the first place. would have saved me money on flashing my ecu and all the "labor" it took..
