High Mileage S2000
I have an s2k with about 95000 miles on it. I want to put a TC or SC on it but am worried about the high milage. Should i sell the car and get a new one with lower miles or just put some money into this motor. Let me know what you think and what it might cost.

How much isnt the question, question is do you have the $'s....you first need to figure out if you want 300-400hp or 600+hp and work around that because the sky is the limit if you have money out the @**

I would(i actually am) rebuild a seperate engine thats NOT in your car now if you wanna boost it, when youre done with your build just swap it in, then keep or sell the 95k engine...I personally would have that one rebuilt and sell it or keep it for another project idk whatever you wanna do... best of luck

350whp with a greedy kit will cost less that get 350whp na, if you got the money for na then do it,its more reliable, you dont have to get re-tuned every few months blah blah blah, na every hp counts itb's, cams, headers, exhaust, engine management, WEIGHT SAVINGS, stroking the engine, finding ways for better air-flow...the list goes on.... if all you want is 350whp quick the get a greedy kit, if you wanna spend money and want it all motor go na

350whp on a complete greddy kit is going to be quite a challenge.
350whp NA out of an S2k motor F20C/F22C is next to impossible.
looks like you're either going with a supercharger or a turbo setup.
Do a leakdown test and see how your motor's doing. If your motor's leaking less than 6%, i wouldn't doubt it and go ahead and boost it. Would I expect a million miles out of the motor? absolutely not. But will it be okay for awhile? absolutely, why the hell not. 350whp will still be pretty reliable if you're on top of things. Good tune and being on top of maintenance will go a long way.

Just build a motor you can do it for fairly cheap. keep the stock head, just change out the retainers.
rods - $500-800
pistons - $ 450-600
sleeves - $1000-1200
lol @ all motor. yeah, you should fully built your motor that would be cool.
If you wanna drag race and actually win you will need more then 350 horse.
PS. you link doesnt work.

300whp N/A power feels as good as 400whp F/I power...
a lot of people go F/I, but i give a lot of respect to those that make great power directly from N/A
