Default Inline filter

Anyone know who else makes a filter that looks like this:

I refuse to pay PRM $139 to use the filter. So who else makes this type of filter so I can make my own cold air intake?

Never seen nothing like it.
And what does this filter do that a K&N doesn't? Kill germs or something? Put out fires?
Better flow? Riiiight...

I have no idea. I was just thinking the filter would stay cleaner up in the engine compartment this way, rather than having it hanging down in the fender.
