Hey,

I was unplugging the knock sensor on my 1998 Civic, and it felt a little bit limp when I removed it. After looking at it there was only one wire coming out of the wiring harness connector. The wire is Red/Blue (I think).

I almost **** a brick because my printout says 2 pin...

But looking at the service manual it only talks about one wire (the Red/Blue.) I didn't have a code for this or anything, but I am removing the harness... and I really hope I didn't yank out a wire.

So my question is: should there only be one wire coming out of the 2 pin connector for the knock sensor on a D16Y8 wiring harness...?

ha yea dude your fine. just to further clarify he is correct and it's only the 1 wire.
