LCA inner bolt not lining up
Could I just knock off the spot welded nut off the back and get a bolt and nut with locking washers and would that work fine or is that going to screw something up??
well when I changed mine on my crx I just hit the bolt in with a hammer a little and then just started tightening with the ratchet
use another jack on the lca to make it easier
on my honda integra my bolts were rusted on so I cut them off and put in new bolts with nut and washers
been running like that for years now with no problems at all

front or rear?
regardless, you should be inserting the inner bolt first. then the shock. then the outer bolt/balljoint. the rear lower control arm almost NEEDS to be raised in order for the outer bolt to be fully inserted. thats usually the harder one. never the inner one... i cant imagine why youre having issue with that.
the inner and outer bolts have a tapered tip. the guy above is saying it should allow you to hammer the bolt thru the bushing and it will center itself into the nut. i believe this is exactly why its designed this way.
also, you should tighten ALL the bolts AFTER youve loaded the suspension. jack the arm up so that weight on that corner is fully on the suspension. then tighten.

I had to replace one of the inner bushings because the old one had the bolt seized up into the sleeve, so i cut it out got it out got the drivers side lined up and then the passenger i put the new bolt into it cant get it started.... i had no problem getting them in when they were free from the rest of the assembly but the stabilization bar that connects to the passenger side just wont line up with 1 of the holes on the control arm so i took the bolt on dropped it got the s bar on and tried to line it back up no luck....I'm scheduled to bring my car in to get the bumper mount pulled its been on jack stands for 5 days now....

so do the sway bar last?
oh and make sure you jacked up BOTH sides when attaching the swaybar. it will make it easier as youre not fighting the swaybar's only function.
