Default EG/EK exhaust differences

Looking to put the exhaust from my eg hatch onto an ek hatch.

What issues should I expect?

I noticed that Skunk2 (only site I could ind with pics) has different aprt numbers for each generation, and the ONLY difference I could see is the hanger placement by the cat.

Anything else?

The differences lay in the cars with the catalytic converters in the exhaust manifolds. So long as you have a header w/ the seperate cat underneath the car, the header, cat, and midpipe will be identical for all 92-00 civics. Axle backs are identical for 92-00 3drs, 92-00 2dr/4dr share the same axleback.

Both cars are B-swapped.

The ek HAD the cat at the exhaust manifold, but no longer does(test pipe I believe). My eg is the same way, no cat, just test pipe.

So, am I correct in assuming this is a yes?

To my knowledge, they will swap right over Alan. What I'm not sure of is, does the EK have one hanger in the middle? I've seen some EK stock exhaust that do. Just not sure if it's sedan, hatch, or coupe Either way, you may have to get a hanger modified. Hopefully not!

.

The 92-00 coupe/sedan share the same exhaust. But the hatchs' over axle pipe is shorter. As for the header. The 96-00 came with a built on catalytic coverter, that ran isnt a skimpier looking down pipe, then the 92-95s.As for the cat issue.I would say just drill a hole into your 5th gen cat weld an o2 bung n and you will be on your way. The oxp is the same length on coupes/sedan because i have a sedan factory exhaust on my car not hacked. And my cars an ej2.Actually its off a dc2?? 4 door teg isnt it
HOPE THIS HELPS
