what're the advantages/disadvantages of having this setup? Is it better than all b18c1?

putting the B16A2 head on a GSR block will lower compression a little bit. But the reason why I put a B16 head on my GSR block was because i got the B16 head for $200 complete. also, i put the motor into my 98 Civic 4Door. the B16 intake manifold is much easier to work around and is not ugly like the stock GSR lol. Cleaner in an EK civic.

You only loose 0.1 compression, performance is pretty much the same within 2hp

It would only be worth switching if your old head is bad, or if you need one to start with
