Default Supercharged Prelude

I am thinking about putting a Jackson Supercharger on my car in the next 6 months. Any thoughts or know people who have this on their 5th gen?

Hey VTecprelude140, Yeah i have one. I personally love the JRSC. I've had it on my car for about 5 months now. No problems yet. There is an awesome amount of torque that can be made with the supercharger. If i can recommend a few things, If your planning on upping the boost get water injection, new spark plugs, and hondata. It will save you a lot of headaches.

turbo... all the way, th JRSC is not that impresive IMO, when i bought my Lude like 2 yrs ago, that's all there was, and i almost bought one b/c i didn't know any better. you will be much better off with the F-max turbo kit. 288whp out of the box, and all the fuel management and timing retard come with the kit, and it's not much more thatn the SC

I have been thinking about a turbo also, but I am worried about having to spend more money on internals. Have you had to do this yet? What kind of 1/4 mile times can I expect from each setup? Thanks for all your help.

If you run a standalone you'll have a lot better chance of your engine surviving. This goes for JRSC and Turbo, Both are about the same safeness unfortunately. Hondata will help a ton, I run Accel DFI, but I also built my internals, and everything.
