It has been brought to my attention that my car still tends to transfer weight just a little out of the whole. Also with just the 24.5" M&H's spinning badly, the 60fts are usually in the 1.69-1.72 range. Could this help or hurt me? Car is aligned and has suspension.
You dont gain much from jsut filling the weight bar with lead but you we use this system on all of our cars. You can add anywhere up to 200lbs on the front end.

I was thinking I could get about 100 pounds worth of shot in my Full-Race traction bar.
I forget exactly what it was, but something like 32" x 2" x 2" was about 40lbs. You'll be lucky to get 20lbs in a FR bar. 40lbs doesn't sound like much until you pick it up.

Thanks for the info guys. Looks like I will pass on filling my FR bar and just concentrate on other aspects of leaving the line.
we got about 40 lbs in ours when we did it back in the day, we had built a custom bar to begin with so not sure what size it would be similar to as far as other manufacturers but is about the norm i would assume.

Just use sand bags like some people do, it's the best choice.
You can just remove them after the weigh in if they slow you down lol
