I just bought a new OBX LSD. I opened it up and cleaned up well inside and filed down the worst of it and then sanded it down to make it smooth. I re-stacked the washers like this: top )()()( bottom. My question is:Can I lube the LSD with Torco Type F Limited Slip Friction Modifier and still ad some Torco MTF or RTF Racing Transmission Fluid. My tranny is a 89 D16A6 L3 one. Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks.

 

A helical LSD does not require special fluid - Just fill it with the Torco MTF.

 

no use in using that expensive fluid on a cheap product. its going to break sooner or later so save some money to fix what ever breaks then replace with a better lsd.
