The reason I ask is that the Mugen computer plugs right into my wiring harness on a 97 ITR, will that also be the case for a 98? TIA

 

Yes, it changed in 00 w/ the immoblizer

92-95 obd1 96-98 obd2 1st gen 99-up obd2 2nd gen the plugs are all different!! good luck, eric

 

97 and 98 R's have the same plugs Ed, Jason is right. 00 is different.

Was going to let someone "test drive" the Mugen ECU and didn't want to have any problems when I pull it from my car and "plug" it into his.

BTW a 7-tt friend of mine has the Power FC and the datalogit bit, he loves it.
Too bad I'll have to spank him one of these days with my Turbo ITR!

i think after 98 it changed....but not sure though....but im pretty sure.

 

100% sure that it changed in 00.
