Default Replacing HG, TB, & WP, Should I replace anything else?

Hello Everyone,

I've got a few questions as far as what I should replace. My 2002 EX has about 180,000 miles on it, but I've been having trouble with the headgasket, so I figured I may as well do the head gasket, timing belt and water pump at the same time.

I guess my first question is, should I have the head that's on there now milled, valve job, etc., or would I be better off purchasing a remanufactured head?

Is there more I should consider replacing while I have everything torn apart? rings, seals, etc.?

I'm just a hobbyist with cars, so I'm confident in my abilities to a degree, but if I need to be pushed out of my comfort zone to replace something, let me know and I'm willing to try it. Just looking for suggestions if anyone has some.

Thanks!
-Ben

I wouldn't bother having it milled unless it's warped. Call around, many machine shops will check it for free.
Timing Belt replacement kits usually come with the necessary seal(s). You can do the valve seals if you want to, but you'd be making quite a bit more work for yourself.

I did my motor mount as well since it wasn't looking so good.
