Default nuformz block guard

has anyone used one of theese nuformz block guards? just looking for some input, good or bad. thanks

Bolckguards=BAD. I do not reccomend them. They tend to keep heat at the top of the cylinder. Thats not good. What do you think you need a block guard for? Are you spraying?

yah....you occasionally over heat too...if you want to boost a lot.....get some new sleeves....i highly recommend golden eagle....my friend has them and they are really nice...i think somewhere around 700 for bseries

i am gonna have a block built for the gude head, intake and reburned computer that i have recently picked up. i will be spraying 75 - 100 shot of nitrous (what ever the machine shop that is building the motor reconends). but to answer your question i am building a d16 sohc nitrous monster. still any comments are welcome

The NuFormz first Gen ones are pretty whack. Really poor coolant flow. Go with an STR, or sleeves.

get the str and a integ dual core radiator...my friends got that setup on his 13:1 cr lsvtec..given its got no thermostat..it never even heats up all the way to normal op temp
