car idles cant give it gas...?
screw came out of the rotor in my dizzy and ate the rotor up.Replaced that and the cap and car will start when pop started but wont start when u turn the key..?It will sit there and idle fine but when i try to give it gas it just boggs out.I sprayed gas in the intake before i found out the rotor was chewed up to see if it was fuel.Could i have messed my sensor up or is my dizzy shot?
if that small phillips head screw came out! that would jingle around for a bit ubtil your magnet picked it up.Id say inspect for further damage.Theres definaely grooves into it or something
the screw was sitting in the cap when i popped it off but yea it could have hit somthing. The only thing that bothers me is that if i barely touch the gas it will rev up but i can only slightly hold it down
Did you loosen up the dizzy and move the timing to see if timing was your problem before you opened it up to see the rotor problem.
Give the throttle real slow after you pop start it and see if the idle will go up if you baby the throttle, play with timing while easing the throttle, as stated earlier, you may have a damaged dizzy internally.

sounds like a timing issue.Crack your bolt that is on your fuel filter. It goes from your injecor rail to your fuel filter.Let it go from the injector rail end, dont lose your washeres. Then dip it into a bottle and turn your key ahead. There should be a fair amount of gas in the can.If there is it shouldnt be fuel. What year is the civic 92-95s dont have a crank sensor,96--2000 do my buddy had problems with it before
