In my wife's 2000 EX w/o alarm, when she locks her doors with the remote her turn signals up front and in back flash. When I lock my hatch with my Honda remote (Si dash harness, power window/lock/mirror/tweater/keyless conversion), my parking lights up front (city lights in my ek9 headlights) and the tail lights flash. Why don't my turn signals flash like hers do? I want that to happen instead of my parking/tail lights flashing. I think it'd be better if the turn signals flashed 'cause it would light up my side markers. But just wondering why the difference between my car and my wifes' car.

The parking lights are the ones flashing, not the turn signals. The corner lamps have dual filament bulbs in the front which cause the corners to illuminate dim with the parking light on and bright with the signal on. You are confusing the turn signals with the parking lamps. Did you wire the parking lights yourself? You can wire your alarm to do so but you will need to wire it to the hazards to prevent both signals from illuminating when signaling. Or you can run diodes to prevent this.

woohoo, someone replied...
i know the corner bulbs in an ek are dual filament, so if i didn't have jdm headlights, and what you're saying is true, then the parking light part of the turn signal bulb would be lighting up.
Why do my wife's turn signals in the rear light up? Man, maybe I'm smoking crack. I probly better go lock/unlock her car real quick to make sure it's not the tail lights.
thanks for your reply though!
