tonight was the first run for me.im allways working on hondas never dragging.the only bad thing is the 4 spped standard trans is still in it.how much will the si or dx tranny help?

look at it this way since you got that time on first run you have to get better unless you shift at like 3000 rpm.

only room for improvement is also another stand

nah, high 16sec run, depending on the gearing.

I ran a 10.3 1/8 w/ a 16.1 1/4 and my car has NO topend power, and is geared very tall.

My best 1/8 though is a 9.8 @ 72

 

thank you,thats what i was asking.i still have the 4 speed tranny,very tall gearing.its **** till 4000 then it comes on hard.how much will the 5 speed dx or si help?plus its getting a y8 head on it thus week.
