My sister has a 1996 eclipse spyder and when she bought it she was told it needs a starter and they had a brand new one. I put the starter on and it had the exact same problem ( turn it over and it either starts or doesnt at all. it almost sounds like a faint shorting out noise when the car doesnt star) I figured this sounds like something in the ignition switch it self. Is that so? Thanks in advance for everyones help.
