Default Subwoofer

1997 Civic Ex Coupe

Hey, I was thinking about getting a subwoofer for my car. Later I might put in some new speakers (I think the stock speakers are great).

So, Will someone fill me in? I'd like to have one that "rumbles" if you know what I mean

Anyway, I know that I need an amp and (obviously) a subwoofer. Could someone tell me how many watts my AMP should support and how big/watts of a speaker I should get. Also, should I buy an actual subwoofer, or just get a big, regular speaker?

I'm planning on putting it in the trunk underneath the little "trapdoor" thing.

You can go with Orion HCCA subs and maybe run one 12 and have it bang like 2 15's. As for amps its on you as long as it 1 ohm stable and you have some serious power just to push it then youll in the buisness.
