I want that old skool mugen exhaust every rich mother ****er had back in the day, but it seems impossible to find a legit one nowadays. should i give up or does anyone have any good ideas?

I came close to buying one myself, but could not bring myself to spend $750 on a cat back that was "20 years" old!!!!

I also looked for a very long time. Glad i waited, because after keeping my eyes peeled, i found a very minty DC Sports full stainless cat back, cost $40

 

You passed that exhaust up for $750? Most people would have paid triple...what a loss man. I'm by no means rich, but I would have paid that in two seconds, chipped paint and all. Beauty is truly in the eyes of the beholder.

 

pffft, what ever I have imported a couple of CR-X with them too...it's just an exhaust man...made of metal. I am glad to have saved $710 for the exact same performance!!

If you are smart, you buy good brand name stuff for reasonable pricing. I have have a genuine steering wheel and MR5 mag wheels...got them for a good price...but i sure as hell won't over pay for certain items

Will you say a $40K baseball card is waste of money too? Not saying this exhaust is on the same level, but same idea. If someone is willing to spend and can afford it, that's his/her choice.

All of us here are dumping money into a 20+ years old Hondas. That alone is a big waste to any outsiders, but we're not doing it for them.
