tach signal ?
just baught a 2000 ek dx d16 with no tach in the cluster i had a tach in my old car i just popped the cluster read a diagram n installed it i havent done any resurch on the ek but i was just wondering if i could hook the signal wire up to the dizzy somehow.. or should i do the same thing that i did with my old beretta?
if you're talking about adding an aftermarket tach... there is no need unless you frequent the track.
grab a compatible OE cluster that came with a tach (EX, Si, maybe even CRV...) and it's all plug and play. no need to run wires, just remove the DX cluster and install the EX/Si cluster and you'll have a working tach.

To answer your question, there's a solid blue tach signal wire behind the cluster, or if you want to run it to your dizzy, connect it to the negative side of the coil. Either way...
