Icon3 Accord wit h22 swap (HEADER QUESTION)

I had purchase headers for my h22 and the headers i purchase was for a 94 prelude. Now they don't fit my 94 accord 4 Dr cat converter or straight pipe which i am planning to do a engine swap into my Accord.

Now, how or Wat is the best way i can make this all work out or would i have to order headers for my 94 accord? PLEASE help

Thank You

you have to modify the H22's downpipe to fit your accord's catback, or vice versa. One way of getting arond that is using the H22 downpipe, CAT, nad a 90-93 accord's catback which will be a bolt on apparently. There was also another bolt on way using a 98 Prelude SH headers which comes with an adaptor for something but I forgot how that goes.

yea i was gonna use my aftermarket headers with the 98 prelude cat converter, but the only thing is dat the ludes converter is alittle shorter then my accords by 2-3 ins. don't know if that will make a difference!!!

I ordered it for my engine which is the H22 due to different header ports design. If you order it for an Accord, you'll get a F22 header. Don't go buy the chasis if your H22 is in your Accord, because either way, it'll still needs to be modified to fit your Accord exhaust system.

I notice you're Hmong. I'm Hmong as well.

I still got my No Name brand header that got modified to fit Accord catback. PM me.

I can do 110.00 as I paid 120.00 for the modification to fit the Accord exhaust. What year is your Accord?

Generally you will just take your car down the your local exhaust shop and have your exhaust modified to fit. Probably cost you $20-$30, we do these all the time.

here's what worked for me.

1st I ordered a header for a 98 Prelude Vtec

2nd I ordered one of these Honda Accord 90-93 Test-Pipe

3rd I installed the header and found it was much longer then my OEM F23
Measured gap between the down pipe flange (3 bolt offset triangle) and the beginning of the cat back exhaust (3 bolt triangle flange). It was about 6 inches of space

I Then had test pipe cut down and shortened at a local welding/machine shop to fit so it looked like this

worked like a charm. this was my way since i would not sacrifice to cutting up my RS*R cat back

good luck

mike
