Are there Emissions/Smog tests in Knoxville,Tn?

 

No help yet, I dont live there so I dont know, call the DMV or ask a neighbor if they smog their cars, until someone from this site lets you know otherwise. Would cars not have a sticker on the window?

 

As far as I know they only do smog check around the Nashville area. I know for a fact they don't in the Johnson City/Bristol area because I frequently go there. There was talk of doing it in the entire state about 12 years ago and they dropped the matter.

Chattanooga just has emission test. All they do is check your fuel cap and do an OBD scan. I just resent my ecu to pass.

I live in knoxville and they DO NOT do smog test! I lived in Nashville and they did and as soon as I moved to knox i changed all my stuff over so I would be done with that BS.
