I have a 1996 Honda Accord EX car(F22B1 engine). I need to DIY for EGR port cleaning because the engine light was on and DTC showed P0401. The engine is quite dirty. Should any fuel injecter O-ring needs to be replaced to new one after EGR port cleaning? If so, does just upper fuel injecter O-ring (to fule rail) or whole set of fule injecter O-ring needs to be replaced? Thanks!

 

I like replacing injector O-rings because vacuum leaks and fire can be bad. Given the age of the vehicle I would replace all injector O-rings.

 

I just did the EGR cleaning on my 96 DX and didn't change them but it might be good to while they are out. I just didn't have the time to do it so I left them with no problems afterwards.

 

Where do you buy these o-rings? I have a 1990 Accord LX Automatic.

Do you need to change ALL of the o-rings and seals or just the upper o-rings are enough?
-Fuel Injector cushion ring
-Fuel Injector o-ring
-Fuel injector seal.
Did I miss any other seals or o-rings?

Also, I have a 1990 Honda Accord LX, 4AT. I wonder after you clean the EGR ports, could we thread the ports so that small bolts can be used to block it off instead of the silver plugs to help future service? What SIZE bolts and tap could we use?
