so i just picked this car up for $500 1989 civi lx im the second owner this thing ceased up with 260k on the clock nicest 500 dollar honda i think ill ever get came with a 90 crx dx motor to swap in also

 

it started up np but with a code/cel #14 its the iacv how to a fix this its idling eraticly and makes the car spuder while crusin around town very hard to drive it easily

 

That motor that is swapped in there, is the same motor that would come stock with your car in the first place.

go to the junk yard and take like 3 eacv's clean them and throw them on your motah!

make sure its pluged in with the right plug. then try to clean the one you got. if that doesnt work then go to the junk yard.

 

i never unpluged it i just unpluged the body harness anyway a buddy of mine said somthing about an air bubble in it can make it throw a CEL but the idle is hoorible why would that be i replaced the sencer already so any other ideas
