00 CRV Cruise Not Working...
I just picked up a 2000 CRV LX AWD 5 speed on thursday. This morning on the interstate, I thought I would try the cruise control since that was the only thing left that I hadn't checked when I bought it. Well, it doesn't work.
What could possibly be the problem? And what should I check?
Thanks

mine was the same way, but I dont use that crap, just like I dont drive an auto, so I ripped it out. Would have if it worked. Check the hoses for leaks, after that, I dont know
I am not sure on your vehicle but some times there is a switch on the brake pedal and maybe on the clutch pedal that will kill the CC. If there is only one switch, how many wires are on it, it might be a double acting switch, for example the brake switch.
When you first touch the brake switch just a little, the CC will kill, push a little further and a second internal contact will turn on the brake lights. The same may be true of the clutch switch, kill the CC, push further for the safety switch so the starter can be engaged. There may be seperate switches for each function also. Just some possibilities.
