well it could be the fact that there are a great number of people who over cam their engines. some of those who are selling them may not have the right engine setup for that particular set of cams. so perhaps the pro2's are not performing as they thought they would. for the many folks you see selling their pro2 cams there are just as many people switching over to them. its all how you look at

stage 2 and pro1 are more ideal for street setups hence why i would say they are a hot topic and like big block said a lot of people at first just wanna run the biggest cam they hear about on the market and find out they not making the power they thought they would because they are over caming there motors i ave a set of skunk2 stage 1 cams for sale because i switched to stage 2

that's the thing. It's not "which motor" they are to run in, the big question is "Do you have what needs to have been done to the motor to warrant their use?"

Most people don't NEED Pro2's or the like and think that because they have the calculated compression and "headwork" to use them but find in actuality that they either 1) don't know how to tune with them to realize the maximum potential, 2) don't have the engine setup to warrant the use of them in a capacity that they were made for. or 3) Bought them because they believed they would get "the biggest hp ever" because they are PRO 2s, and just didn't understand what it took to get the results needed

So you're saying that if I add PRO 3's to a completely stock motor it's not going to add 30 HP?!?!?

*this is a joke, please don't take it out of context*

On a serious note, if you look at the all motor dynos and what their set up is they are running cams that fit their set up and not what they think they should be running. A lot of people post their trial and error on here, and you should take advantage and learn from it. Your wallet will thank you later.
