Alternator Belt Issue
Well I've been having an issue with tossing belts as of recently.
For example yesterday. I drove the car about 70 miles to the track, made 8-10 passes. We were leaving the track and my battery light came on, so I knew immediately what it was. We were stopping at the gas station right up the road so I drove it there. Popped the hood, got out, and the alternator belt flipped itself over meaning the ribs were on the outside. So we flipped the belt back around the proper way and left. About 10 miles up the road I hear a weird noise and the battery light comes on, so I pull over get out and my once 4 rib belt now has 3 ribs and it flipped itself over again. I had brought a new belt with, so I just took that belt off, put the new belt on, made it tight as hell, and had no issues the rest of the way home.
Now this is about the 4th brand new belt on the car in like 2 weeks. I mainly thought it was an high rpm issue, but that belt went yesterday at like 3500 rpms.
We are going to check pulley alignment, but does anybody have any other ideas..?

Well I swapped the top alternator bracket since the previous one broke and was welded.
When putting the car back together I spun the alternator pulley and the outside edge was bent. The rest of the pulley looked straight except the outside edge though. So, I swapped another pulley on, and I put a new belt on.
I went out and did a few 9000 RPM pulls with no issues as of yet, but the car made roughly 10 passes down the track with no issues either, so only time will tell.
