all the mods done so far were cool...in '97...simplicity is best imo

 

What kind of wheels are those bro?

 

Change wheels, paint lips, paint and fix hood fitment. Looks like the headlights could use some restoring as well.

Not a bad start though.

 

i would change the lip to a si-r or the jdm type r lip. other than that it's not bad.

hmm, is that a type r front lip? thats the wrong one for your year..

 

BBS Moda's, it's a ctr front lip, I had my gsr blades on but the tires are not cut out for an ek, too thick if you look at them from the side. I tried to restore the headlights a bit, not much luck though, i've tried several different compounds. And yeah i'm looking into a sir lip.

edit, i also want to go a lot lower, these are just h&r springs.

Yeah the front plate is coming off, my buddy had gotten pulled over recently for not having one.

ger rid of the dumb wheels, get either a 96-98 ctr lip or a sir lip, 99-00 fake ctr lips look dumb on 96-98's

get rid of the junk fake headlights, get some nice stock headlights, or real ctr's, stay away from fake junk


take the tilt off your hood, fit it better, get rid of the gaps

and clean the poor car

 

good start.. i agree with this guy up here^^ about th 99-00 ctr lip not looking good on a 96-98. A real 96-98 ctr lip wont be cheap either.. and you are going to have to paint it red(if your car is gonna stay that color) rear lip deff has to get painted or removed.

But over all its a clean car.

If you're going to keep the lip unpainted, go with the SiR lip and CTR headlamps would look sick. Other than that, it's coming along.

 

i agree. change the wheels and front lip and you're good to go. but not a bad start.
