I can answer Question #3.
Ksport Coils are ok for the 02-06, they ride great, but! you can't lower the crv too much, the bottom of the front strut will hit / rub the cv boot, so in order to lower the front more than 2.5 inches, you have to "un-preload" the spring so you can get atleast an extra 1.5 inches, the rear is also limited, you have to remove the two small locking rings, and screw the bottom piece all the way up, and "un-preload" the spring all the way down to get a real drop, besides all that if you are ok with a 2 inch drop, then you will love riding on Ksport coils.. rides awsome.. oh yea! and if you decide to go lower than 2.5-3 inches, you wont be able to get the front camber fully alligned 100%, and the toe wont be 100% either.
The rear, with some camber kits you can get the Camber 100%, but not the toe in, EVER! so you will always be rolling on Hot rear tires.. LOL..

Thank you for answering the ksport question. But I think I am going to go a different route on my CRV and go with off road tires. I was going to VIP my crv out. but since I already have my 7thgen civic coupe and my girlfriend has 8thgen civic sedan that we are going to vip out.
Is the Ksport worth the adjustable struts? or should I look into koni? or tokico?

Adjustability is good, and I'm sure that compared to tokicos or other ajustable struts, the ksport coilovers are far superior, but that's just my opinion, it all comes down to personal preference I guess.. And the fact that you also have hight ajustablity is also a great plus..
Not really. I haven't seen the dyno charts for the CR-V-specific Ksport dampers, but I've seen them for other models and was not impressed. There are better dampers out there for the money.
Then for struts? What should I purchase? I want to keep the stock springs. I just want a little stiffer ride then what I have now.
I am going to be running 225/70/R16 Fuzion Xti truck tires. On 16"inch 2002 RSX rims.

And I agree with you, like i said, it really just comes down to personal prefference..

Hallo, and thank you for your site, first timer. My headlights do not work. My high beams do, and the switch on the column works. I've narrowed it down to something not switching err.. connecting to turn them on. My friend used his gadget to check for voltage, and to the headlights not getting one. I figure I could do it myself, I need a part number and how. thanks for any help!

If you find that this is your problem, Honda's service bulletin (#04-015) advises to replace the headlamp switch and the connector and to splice a new terminal onto the red/white wire. They have a parts kit (part no. 35012-S5A-307) that includes the switch, connector, and wire. This kit is actually cheaper than buying the headlamp switch alone.
While the CR-V wasn't part of the recall, I've found the problem is exactly the same as with the Civic model and the parts kit works just the same. The only difference is that you have to pay for it, instead of having it repaired for free...
If you have an '02 CR-V and your low beams aren't working, pull the covers off of the steering column and check the headlamp switch connector and its wiring harness. The CR-V of that model year used the same headlamp switch as '01-02 Civics, which was recalled by Honda in the Civic models but not in CR-Vs. A problem with the switch causes the red/white wire and its terminal to overheat and burn or melt the harness connector and the socket/pins on the switch. This causes the low beams to stop working, while the high beams continue to function.

Will this parts kit work for the '03 CRV as well?? Our headlight connector has over heated and melted too. Was the connector just not heavy enough to begin with or is there a greater electrical problem here?
Thanks in advance!
As far as I know, they had a faulty batch of switches that caused the problem, but I could be wrong. I don't know exactly what causes it. All I know is how to fix it, and that I haven't had any repaired cars come back the the problem recurring so it seems to permanently solve the issue.
Yes, it will work on an '03.

I've done alot of automotive repairs and feel comfortable undertaking this, is there an online wiring schematic? Is everything included in the kit? Any hints or tips you can pass on.
Thanks in advance (again)!
