hey fellas need some help got a 99 EM1, have had some trouble lately, fixed one but now got a re-occuring problem with power ..... Problem is: car seems to run around fine at around town speeds, BUT soon as I get on the freeway and hit about 70-80 mph, the car jus bogs down (but keeps running, just no power). When it did this today? I pulled off the freeway let it get back to idle put it in first gear, then took off.

Earlier in the morning after it warmed up, the motor at around V-TEC? Seemed flat....... cars known to pull til like 8200 rpm but now like fizzles out around 7-75k rpm anybody got any ideas?? or have you had siumiliar problem. Plus, the speedo went out too..... .

 

Any CEL codes?

Is 7.5A dash fuse 15 blown?

 

I've had problems with the knock sensor cel on..... had replaced that awhile ago and it's still on.....

 

Pull the CEL code again to see whether a new one has popped up.

 

tried couldn't get any....... (forgot how through the cel codes), reset the ecu, started the car CEL was on & SRS light stayed on.... shut it off and restarted it and the SRS light stayed off, cel lights was on car warmed up... Still flat (basically no vtec), and cel light stayed off.......... I'm lost, this cars a damn enigma, hahahahaha............ ANYBODY HAVE THE SAME WEIRD SH%^$T HAPPEN TOO??????
