Just drove the car to work as normal, parked, & locked using the factory key fob. When I get back the door won't open! I have power locks with the factory alarm. Tried to play with the lock, but both inside & outside doorhandles don't work. Has anyone ever had this problem? How can I get into/remove the door panel without being able to open the door? Any suggestions would be appreciated! Tired of havin to climb over to the other side

I've had that problem. The door latch/lock assembly had failed in the locked position. I had to take the door panel off in the car (this is possible) and use an air hammer to chisel out the lock. Once I killed the latch assembly the door popped open. Then I bought a new lock assembly. Easy job if you have an air hammer. if not, have fun.

As stated, this was MY problem, your might be different. Try to take the panel off. From there see if you can move the lock assembly metal bars to unlock the door...

 

Did u damage anything with the air hammer? (paint)?

 

When this happened to me I went to the Honda dealership and talked to one of the techs. They stated that they have seen latch assemblies fail, and this is not a "NEW" problem. If you don't feel up to the task, have a dealership do it. I'm all about saving my cash though.

Here is how I did it.

Step one:
LEAVE WINDOW UP!!

I shined a flashlight in the door right on the latch assembly. Put the air hammer with a chisel right on the latch assym. and started going to town. Just pay attention to hitting only the latch and you'll be ok. It took about 25 minutes to get it chiseled off. Once its chiseled off the door will literally swing open. From there unbolt the assembly and install new one.
