how do i use a vacuum gauge?

how do i use a vacuum gauge?

so i bought one and it doesn't have any instructions. couldn't find anything online other than how to interpret the data. i just wanted to know how and where i plug the hoses.

direct to the intake manifold vacuum, NOT throttle body. 17-22 in-hg is healthy

where is the intake mani vacuum?

srsly?

it's on the intake manifold..

just tee into any of the small vacuum lines on it.
