I was just wondering cause I'm skeptical of this BIG TIME ...
On page 66 of "Turbo & High-Tech and Performance" Oct. Issue. They do a review of 33 Kits.
This is what the grey box says (circled in Red on the right).
Type of Turbo: GReddy/Mitsubishi TD05-18G
Housing Sizes: 8 cm2
Wheel Trim: 55.1 Comp, 76.8 Turb.
Boost on Standard Kit: 5.7psi, 7psi w/intercooler
Dyno Tested output @ Wheels: 220.1, 244.3 w/intercooler
Fuel Enrichment: Fout 310CC Low Impedence Injectors and Fuel Control unit (FCD) "Blue Box".
Intercooler: Optional
Retain use of A/C: Yes
Install manual: Yes
Warranty: Yes
CARB E.Q. D-397-7
MSRP: $3,149.00
Now, the Question is are those dyno #'s accurate? The article does not make any mention of other mod's. What do you guys think?? One would think you can achieve this (from the article) with a Bone Stock Si and I don't think that's the case.

Well thats for the 99+Si B16 Right?
Then those #'s sound right.
Then those #'s sound right.
Thats the problem with a lot of stuff spread around on dyno test. You dont fully know the truth on engine mods and if its wheel or crank hp if they dont print it. I think a lot of times if companys help the mags out with stuff and it they are a big advertiser, they will make their product lookk better. I still will say that everyone should not totaly beleive what the read and hear even if its in a magazine. It doesnt mean its the whole truth.
yea thats bullshit man i read that mag and it said the gsr was making like 255 to the wheels at like 8 psi or so w/ the greddy kit. They must have crazy *** tuning to do that!

All mags are shaddy. Its a business and the large companys like greddy pay to have there adds in there. Pay a little more, and we make your company look good.
