a/f ratio problems
ok so ive got a rebuilt 95 d16z6, high compression, blah blah. stock injectors, stock obd1 ecu, and it runs rich almost all the time. except when i first start up the vehicle the a/f ratio starts out rich as always and slowly drops down to optimal then lean, very lean. then it slowly goes back into optimal and then shoots back up to rich and stays there. then after driving highway speeds it'll go down to optimal range and if i continue at highway speeds it continues to go down and itll bounce around a lot between optimal and lean.
i have a 170degree thermostat in it now, (i work at a parts store) and thats the lowest temp thermostat available. could a low temp thermostat cause that? ive ordered a 192degree thermostat and im gonna try that but im not sure thats what it is.
any ideas?
