I just found out today that 2 of my rims have a crack but this is 13 days after I got new tires for a rim size I didn't even like(16").

So I'm trying to see if I should buy the rims in 16" cause I already have tires for that or maybe spend the money for some 13", 14" or 15"
EDIT. Want to see some rota grids. Can't decide 5 or 6 spoke


I'm looking at some rota slips maybe other rims so and wanna see how some 16"s look and also 13 14 and 15.

Please post the tire and rim size even if they aren't rota slips

How much is your speedo off with those tires since they aren't original size. With 16"s it should be 205/40 or 215/45. How much are you lowered

 

I used to have some fake black rims with 205/40 16 tires 16x7 et40

How did you like the wheels?

And how did you like the wheels in person? I really like the close up shots but I'm not to sure about the far shots. Was it flat black?

 

I personally dont like black wheels. Yes they were flat black. 16x7 were very heavy.
Save your money and buy some superlight 15x7 Volk TE37 !

 

I'll look those up. The reason why I'm buying 16" is because I just bought new tires for my current 16s but found out they are cracked. The tires aren't even two weeks old.

 

Sell the tires. You wont like 16's on a Crx. They ride rough, slow you down etc etc

 

I may try that but it's really hard to sell tires here even brand new. I had been thinking 15 because of looks but my new tires made me think other wise. How much difference do you really feel tho.

The 16"s are the size you used to have I currently have and the 15"s is what u have now. Does .6in in side wall help the ride out much? I think it looks better but performance wise I don't know.

Speedo must be pretty correct. Never got flashed. :D
Don't know how low this is. Had an inch left but it's low enough and stays driveable.

To all perfomance freaks:
There is no big difference in 15'' or 16''. VTEC kicks in (yo!) and this baby revs till the end in 5th gear (148mph) - so what?

Not really worried about size right now just trying to pick rims. Grids or slips on a rio red crx.
