95 Civic Si hatch.... The brake pedal is too soft....this is after installing a type r master cylinder, new lines and beeing bled several times.There's also a new rear assembly.
I'm replacing the front rotors and pads but they aren't that bad and does not explain why I can too easily press the pedal to the floor. I also have to basically slam on the brakes to get full force braking, all the way to the floor and that is damn slow to do. Under any wet breaking the cars rear end will slide out.

This sucks.
Any suggestions?

 

I dont know what you mean by new rear assy but usally these things shouldnt be to hard to diagnose. I had one kicking my but the other day and I just could not figure it out so in order for me to break it down a little bit I bought some bolts that would thread into the abs pump so that I could narrow it down to one wheel at a time. you dont have abs so what I would do is start by threading bolts into the master cly and crack them and bleed out the air just like you would at the wheel. if you have a hard pedal then you know the master is good. then just put one line into the master and find out which 2 wheels it supplies fluid too and bleed those two wheels. if you dont have a hard pedal then you know its in those two wheels. what had happend with the car I was working on. the customer had replaced his own calipers and put them on the wrong side. dont know why I didnt catch it at first but the bleeder wasnt at the top of the caliper piston so no matter how much you bleed it there will always be air in it. good luck
