Icon2 Alternator change?

Alternator is dead and im gunna change it. i have changed an alternator before but it was on a 1995 chevy s10. i have a 92 prelude si (H23A1) and was wondering if this will be a difficult process? anyone have any pointers to help me out, any help with the belt will benefit too because the belt seems to be more difficult.

Well you could just read a manuel it tells you everything. The procedure Is very simple and I think is proble easier than the S10. The easiest way to do it is by removing the bolts that hold the power steering (don't completele take it off) so that you can have more room to remove the bolts for the alternator. You'll want to loosen the belt off the alternater using a bolt located near the bottom of the alternator and then just remove the other bolts to take the alternator out.

If you even just a little mechanically inclined it is very easy. You can really just start loosing bolts and it will become self explanatory as to how to remove it.

My best advice would be to check into getting the alternator rebuilt. It's always a ton cheaper than just buying a new alternator.
