Hello guys. I have a 94 civic hatchback

Today after i started my car and turned it off, the red light by my turn signal wont stop blinking even when all the doors were shut. All i did yesterday was reset my ecu by unplugging the fuse and disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery. Did i do something wrong for the red light to blink non stop?

 

you got a alarm? that looks like the armed light/valet alert light.

 

I just got the car, would it drain my battery if it never stopped blinking? I really think i did something wrong because it used to shut off when all the doors is closed. Also, when i would open the door i would hear a clicking sound . It sounds like a blinker but the turn signals are not even engaged.

 

I doubt that little thing will drain your battery.

op: you or someone else is going to have to go searching behind the dash and pull the remnants of the alarm out. if it's not working and assuming you don't have a key fob for it then their's no reason to leave it in there.

 

o.k. guys if you ever come across this problem, this is how I fixed it

Unplug negative battery terminal

Put your key onto the on position

Plug the negative battery terminal

Fixed.
