I don't see what the purpose of this would be. The vtec heads are fed by an oil passage that shoots from the block; thus, when people are doing ls/v they seal up that hole and run oil somewhere else. If you wanted to put the non-v head on a block like a gsr you would have to plug the block, but that would be a shame for that block....and why de-stroke an ls?

^ and they are wayyyy cheaper. Maybe he wants something with a better rod/stroke ratio than the ls....or maybe it was just one of those Trial User questions...

not that i want to....the only vtec heads that i found extremely expensive im going for budget right now cause moneys tight and im buying the b18c5 block with all the internals for 500 bucks from a buddy which is really hard to come by in alaska especially in fairbanks and found a b18 head for 225... i plan on putting a vtec in it if im not satisfied down the road but for right now i have to do something because the d16 thats in is steadily getting more gutless and im definently a noob at the honda thing so the only way to figure this out is to ask questions
